1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Ticol ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Ticol is a privacy-first reminder and task management app. The App allows you to create, organize, and manage reminders using voice input, text, and AI-powered analysis.

3. User Accounts

Ticol does not require an account. All data is stored locally on your device. Optional features like iCloud sync use your Apple ID — Ticol does not create or manage separate user accounts.

4. Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to Ticol. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data. Key points:

• All task data is stored on your device
• AI analysis sends only task text (no personal identifiers)
• No analytics or usage tracking
• Contextual ads are based on task category, not personal profiles

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Ticol offers optional premium subscriptions ("Ticol Pro") through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed before purchase

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with the App's infrastructure or other users' experience
• Use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content via the device sharing feature

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Ticol and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated suggestions (categories, priorities, due dates) are best-effort and should be reviewed by you before saving.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ticol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed reminders, data loss, or reliance on AI suggestions.

10. Data Loss

While Ticol provides backup and export features, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We recommend using the Export and iCloud Sync features regularly. Ticol is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or other causes.

11. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for AI analysis (Google Gemini, DeepSeek) and advertising (Google AdMob). These services have their own terms and privacy policies. Ticol is not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this document.

13. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ticol operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
